CHRIST OUR VICTOR*****************************
My beloved Hymn, "I need Thee every hour,"
Oh! I need Thee every second of the hour;
For every second, this world of woe engulfs me,
Pressing me, in prayers my Lord upon my knees!
Father God, my Lord, how long will this go on,
Fighting to conquer earth, belonging to God?
Justifying slaughtering with deadly songs;
Fierced with hate and guns and fire and swinging swords!
Majesty! God's only Son! Our King, our Lord!
Lived and died and now, ALIVE FOREVER MORE!
Alpha, Omega, beginning and end, is He!
Almighty God! our Lord! Forever He lives!
Who can stand God's Power and Might, Christ's Glorious Strength,
Lashing out this earth, storms of lightening at length?
With His power, earth is silent through the night;
Bursting out, sunshine from Heaven, Christ our light!
Once again, again and again and again,
His love, mercies, grace and truth, just never end;
Those who come to Him, He reigns in hearts and lives,
Christ in you, hope of Glory, Eternal life!
