LIFE TRANSFORMED AT CALVARLY

My weight of sinful self,
My empty heart I felt;
But Christ, so lovingly,
Drew me to Calvary!

I knelt before my Lord,
At the foot of Holy Cross;
Confessing my sins to Him,
Repenting----I needed Him!

And then my eyes have met,
His painful scars, so wet;
From all the blood He shed,
For me----my heart so wept!

I'll never understand,
Why He should take my stead;
And suffer there for me,
So I, at last----be free!

My God, I give my all,
To Him, Who gave His all;
Transformed in love, I know,
In Christ----Who loves me so!
